G-Star ad campaign featuring Sergio Pizzorno

Time for BERLIN! G-Star just presented its SS14 collections at off-site venue Kater Holzig during Bread & Butter Berlin. So what’s the RAW word? The Denim brand is ushering in Sergio Pizzorno and Keenan Kampa as sexy new ad campaign talents for fall 2013.

This cool combo fuses opposite ends of the creative spectrum. The talented Sergio is a member of the British music group Kasabian as guitarist and songwriter, whereas Keenan is pure feminine form as a ballet beauty performing in the Russian Mariinsky Ballet Company. This twosome landed the roles in part because of their drive to pursue their passions. Pizzorno switched his career from footballer to musician. He said: “I told my careers adviser I wanted to be centre forward for Leicester City. When he said ‘No’ I thought I’d be in a rock ‘n’ roll band.” Meanwhile Kampa is applauded and recognized for being the first American accepted into a position with the prestigious dance troupe.

What kind of looks can we expect to see on the appointed duo? Based on the recent unveiling we’re bound to see the label’s latest denim prototype called Type C. This latest cut is for both sexes and is constructed with a super tapered fit with exaggerated pockets that are longer lending lean for a smart silhouette.
