Lucian Matis *Photos byJason Nip Awarded up-and-coming designer last year by the Fashion Design Council of Canada , Lucian Matis is definitely worthy of that title. Romanian folklore and literature was the inspiration of his collection. Golds, silvers, printed beading imagery and hot black leggings. Matis’ handwork and the detailing is of international calibre. His hard work does not go unnoticed with his perfectly tailored jackets and dresses.
Our favorite men’s designer this week! Dimitri-Chris’ 2010 man is young, determined, very metro and definitely not your grandpa. It’s new British and equestrian. Corsets, capes and half oval cut jackets in the front. Dimitri-Chris is made for that hip city guy who always needs to look put-together.
