FASHION flavored HOUSTON 2012
The bayou city embraces FASHION’s finest to their annual FASHION HOUSTON event. In its 3rd year, the event taking place [in the fourth-largest city in the US] has attracted an impressive line up of fashion designers for their four day ‘extravaganza’ taking place November 12-15 downtown. Designers embracing the southern hospitality in the line-up at the Wortham Center has attracted the likes of fdm faves from NYFW including Monique Lhuillier, Zac Pozen, and Herve Leger.
Local designers showing on the runway incorporate Jerri Moore, and Project Runway Season 2 winner Chloe Dao with some notable designers including Georges Chakra who shows in Paris, and US based designers Rubin Singer, David Peck, Kevan Hall, Fotini, and Gemma Kahng. Strutting their drama on the Southern catwalk for local fashionistas and socialites, we can’t wait to see what’s in store in this global mix.
Fashion Houston president and founder Jared Lang shares:
“After surprising and delighting audiences in Houston the last two years, we are absolutely thrilled to raise the bar with our stellar 2012 lineup…”
Under the creative direction of Neal Hamil [Ford, Elite, Mix model management], and executive producer Jeanne Ruberti, the event sponsored by Audi and Neiman-Marcus will surely bring a sophisticated GLOBAL perspective to the ever so fashion loving Southern shoppers..
