FALL BEAUTY: SICILIAN JEWELS at Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana set the runways ablaze at the Autumn-Winter 2013-2014 show, and the Sicilian Jewels makeup collection celebrates beauty in style. The inspiration for the new lip and nail colors and packaging draws from the mosaics and jewelry that gleamed on the fall runway. Make-up artist Pat McGrath gave us a gleaming look perfect to attend a holiday party or to just  jewel up your fall make-up routine.

Resembling the house’s Byzantine-inspired crowns, the classic creme lipsticks come in four featured deep shades reminescent of the precious stones they were inspired by: Ruby(a deep red), Amethyst (bright purple), Emerald (ice-cold, luminous green), and Topaz (Golden amber-yellow). The lipsticks packaging also feature a gorgeous cushion-cut gem set head on top of a sleek, slender gold tubing.

As if these weren’t awesome enough, the nail color palettes compliment the beautiful, pigmented lip shades matching their counterparts also in the same shades as the lipsticks. Perfect for matching your lip color with your nail color which for the holiday.  The lipsticks have tops that resemble jewels in bold and new glimmering tones.
