EYES on HALLOWEEN

Aah,  the excuse to put on too much makeup is on!  Though the fun of costuming is on the agenda, the mask or makeup treatment takes a little extra care.   The HALLOWEEN makeup and face paint kits are loads of fun, but the ingredients can be iffy, and if you have sensitive skin like I do,  can be really irritating – literally.   The eyes can be the most sensitive to halloween makeup, so I’m going to use real deal + go heavy on the eyeliner.

To add to the fun, I’m going to play with some colors to transform my look- in a formula that just so happens to be vegan.

Here’s a couple of how-to’s using eyeliner to get the look, courtesy of VERT.

HALLOWEEN makeup tips from VERT:

FAIRY:

Before grabbing your fairy dust start off by applying VERT Beauty’s Eyeliner in Violet across the eyelid- it’s super creamy and easy to blend. Then with the eyeliner, line the top lash line from the inner corner to the outer edge of the eye 3x to make sure the line has a darker shade. Lastly, outline the outside edges of each eye with long tear drop shapes and swirl them in, making each tear drop swirl smaller and smaller as you go.

MERMAID:

To create the perfect under the sea look, grab a pair of fishnet tights, slide one of the legs over the top half of the face. Then use VERT Beauty’s Eyeliner in Vert to color in the fishnet holes. Remove the tights and then grab Vert’s Eyeliner in Bleu to line the top lash line. Lastly, fill in your lips with the eyeliner in Vert to really make your look pop!

EGYPTIAN GODDESS

Just as every goddess needs their throne, she also needs a killer liner. To create the perfect Halloween Egyptian Goddess look, use VERT’s eyeliner in Bleu- blend it across the crease of your eye. Then grab VERT’s Eyeliner in Noir Or and blend over the eyelid. Lastly, use a black liquid eyeliner and create a long winged line to truly give you that Cleopatra look.
