CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Duckie Brown AW13 NYFW

The Duckie Brown label brought together by Steven Cox and Daniel Silver continues to push the boundaries, intrigue audiences, and uniquely impresses dressers. A strict(er) regimen tightened up loose ends while clever creation came through detailed exaggerations for DUCKIE BROWN fall 2013.  Men of style front row at Industria included stylist and TV host Robert Verdi and TV personality J. Alexander.

FW13 DUCKIE BROWN NEW YORK 02/06/2013

The utilitarian boxiness in the collection was understated with an almost avant-garde yet wearable vibe. The color scheme had some punchy moments in pink FLUO and bold blue to go along with tried and true neutrals. Traditional forms got a DUCKIE BROWN dose of quirky with bi-color arms or buttons down the back, the details giving guys the extra cool in their stride. Outerwear dominated the looks, and the boys walked tall with a a confident vigor. The dress code had swagger to match, with the men in motion rocking modern hair with side parts.

To add to the cool vibe, a rare moment of silence with no music occurred during the show… the camera shutters went aflutter and the walk went on without skipping a beat. One of our NYFW moments this season. fdmLOVES Duckie Brown fall 2013 selects by Brigitte Segura,  Written by Sarah A. Freiseis
