CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Dsquared2 Fall 2014 MFW

We’ve entered the fashion asylum. Always heavy on the theatrics, the Dsquared2 Fall 2014 collection during MFW was no exception. Designers Dean and Dan Caten took us to a psych ward filled with fashionable grandeur. It’s always exciting to see where these two will take us next, craziness included. This set is filled with 60s muses and old glamour decadence. There’s frills and thrills, and even a few chills…from excitement, that is.

This assortment is filled with grand gowns and billowing capes that kiss the floor. An emerald stunner would grace the shoulders of any classic movie siren. There’s short mod coats that have us longing for Carnaby Street circa 1962. Animal print is plentiful in leopard short coats and hot snakeskin miniskirts with jackets. This is a collection that’s for the the bevy beauties and buxom blondes. There’s even a slew of too-cool neck and arm accessories that go deliciously with the psych ward theme. Fashionable braces? Absolutely. The oversized sunglasses just add to intrigue. Like a starlet in on the rise in disguise.

There’s even a few stylish ‘clinicians’ throughout in skintight dresses. Almost like the stylish overseers of these mad belles. You’ll want to be admitted to these clothes. fdmLOVES DSQUARED2 Fall 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
