CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Dior Fall 2014 PFW

Sure, we say ‘pops of color’ enough but the Dior Fall 2014 collection is, in fact, bursting with brightness. Shown during PFW, designer Raf Simons presented a fall set that doesn’t want to shake spring. Gorgeous pinks, corals, yellows and blues illuminate the immaculate tailoring throughout. Sometimes, the color acts more like a fashionable accessory, as models clad in black held bright scarves. There’s dark, light and everything else inbetween. Special appearances by Sasha Luss and Julia Nobis too.

This is a super strong set from this designer, possibly even his best yet. Outerwear is beautifully cut, tailored and styled as it exudes the female spirit. Instead of being trapped in wintertime blues, wear the brightest blues imaginable. These shades are like freshly picked tulips. Kelly green pops up here and there, while baby pink makes the same lasting impression.

If color is too much for fall, there are plenty dark ensembles like short mini dresses and long trench coats to keep you satisfied. Even a simple dress and blazer combo comes alive with a yellow slip underneath. Cute cute cute.

Dior and Paris Fashion Week go hand-in-hand. This is a set this city should definitely be proud of. Girlish charm and effortless sophistication. fdmLOVES DIOR Fall 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
