Didit Hediprasetyo couture fall 2014 Paris
Haute Couture is on in Paris! Didit Hediprasetyo couture fall 2014 Paris gives us an early Nineties vibe with a 40’s flavor of New Yorkers in denim. Inspired by the the street energy of East Village with the the effortless sensuality of Paris, an urban dance meets couture luxury. Everything is here and now, with a mix of modern silhouettes like a leather boyfriend jacket paired with a dress with a train – there’s no retro here, this is today’s Couture.
The embellishments show off the skilled work of the Lesage workshop with an expertise in embroideries: birds scatter over the length of a skirt, a sparrow delineated in thread on a tube dress in army green polo knit, and stars placed over a denim dress.
For day and night, the Didit girl is vibrant, and not afraid to combine urban denim with a little decorative romance. No ball gown drama here, this girl is modern and has her own personal style. Didit Hediprasetyo Fall-Winter Couture
