CYNTHIA ROWLEY spring 2015
Party girls, rejoice! Cynthia Rowley’s spring 2015 collection is here! 60’s mod-inspired mini dresses, bell-shaped skirts in bright colors, with bits of gold accents. Playful pieces made the sixties contemporary, but the seventies were not forgotten by Cynthia, as floral prints and cut out graphics made an appearance.
Though heavily mod-inspired, there was nothing androgynous about these pieces. The flirty collection was adorned with bright, bold red and orange trapeze dresses paired with Birkenstocks for a modern, cool look that would make Twiggy feel young again. This year’s runway also served as a debut to Cynthia’s activewear.
Sporty went girly in the collection in tones of baby pink and blue with gold accents. There was a lot of black and white including cycling spandex looks complete with gold graphics + helmet. Subtle flower power chic perfect for the spring. CYNTHIA ROWLEY spring 2015 NYFW selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Andrea Porro.
