Costello Tagliapietra spring 2013
The design duo stayed true form while pushing some boundaries with dresses for days. the Costello Tagliapietra spring 2013 collection showed a multitude of draped, wrapped, and belted styles, silhouettes showed off plunging necklines, asymmetrical components, and kimono-esque moments. Impressive prints splashed and marbled a variety of colors from jewel tones to desert sunset scenes using eco-savvy AirDye technology. Solid stories offered simplicity and sophistication when called for.
The collection was born from love – completely believable with a line that is easily romantic. Blushing rosy cheeks on porcelained faces from MAC Cosmetics’ lead stylist Maki Ryoke dolled up frizzy bed head sexiness with hair by Nelson Vercher for René Furterer and almost unnoticeable nail perfection from Essie’s shade Minimalistic.
