CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Color Pop Perfection at Nina Ricci Resort 2014

Nina Ricci’s Resort 2014 collection looks like a candy-coated dream. Talk about bright hues and young elegance. The pieces look true resort without the added stuffiness that sometimes occurs. Designer Peter Copping continues using the 50s and 60s as his muse. Most of these pieces could be seen gracing the stars of years before. It’s vintage loveliness mixed with functionality for the modern woman, resulting in something special… that’s so divine.

This line can be split down the middle perfectly for a woman looking for day and night outfits. The bubblegum pink knee-length dress looks delicious and the lemon meringue yellow splashes throughout truly look sweet as pie. The majestic teal coat is also other-worldly. The color is so rich and unique for a coat. The dark evening gowns and short suits are ideal for a night out that’s a little more refined. The cut-out black velvet dress looks like something right out of Angelina Jolie’s closet. It’s total elegant edge.

Another noteworthy piece is the sexy satin low back evening gown. The added cuff bracelets up the arm transforms the look into an exotic nirvana. The tan raincoat includes a cool surprise: it can be folded up into a little pouch, and some of the dresses are made out of technologically advanced cotton. The functionality I was talking about before? That’s where it comes in. It’s fashion jet-setting into the future, and we’re ready for the wild ride. fdmLOVES NINA RICCI resort 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
