CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

COLE MOHR at Exhibition A

Hailing from Houston, Texas, one of our favorite bad boy inked models, Cole Mohr is now onto a creative new chapter. Inspired by the ever so present Americana in his hometown, his ‘Go ‘stros’ work now at Exhibition A references the process and durational aspect of tattooing, a practice which first sparked Mohr’s drawing style.

Through its imagery and mark-making, Mohr plays with a tricolored field into individual dots whose existence create the shape of scattered stars against picture plane. sweet! We first got a little glimpse of his art last year at “by RE:QUEST” show curated by Diego Cortez.  We’re loving Mohr’s (very fitting) straightforward “approach to pointillism and side glance to Pop Art and Jasper Johns.”
