CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Chado Ralph Rucci spring 2013 MBFW

A magical moment front and center as one of the senior [and stunningly gorgeous] working models in the industry, Carmen Dell’Orefice perched prettily as the paparazzi snapped away. Martha Stuart, Paula Abdul, and from Jay Manuel from America’s Next Top Model were also seated just alongside the catwalk at  Chado Ralph Rucci spring 2013.   Followers recognize Rucci’s exquisite finesse with the technical components of couture level design and application, a rare find in ready to wear. This season brights in yellow, pink, and bittersweet orange packed a punch wether structured or flowing. Leather, and the patent variety of it, provided sturdiness to woolen crepes and other fabrics. The bigger the better moments were inspiring, and although unnecessary, the showmanship was appreciated by this crowd.

Trapunto treatment on blazers and skirts took the dress suit and let it out of the office and into a fabulous fashion retreat. Other, smaller, tidbits like beading, belting, and thin cording created just enough accentuation by engaging us at first sight. Hairdo’s were slicked back to the nape of the neck as per Bumble and Bumble Lead Stylist Laurent Philippon’s direction, as make-up looking natural at cheeks and lips was enhanced by attention grabbing color at the eyes compliments of Tom Pecheux for MAC Cosmetics. written by Sarah A.
