catching up: CFDA Fashion Incubator during NYFW

We had the great pleasure of stopping by the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Fashion Incubator during NYFW. We had the opportunity to meet some of the wonderful rising talent.  Participating designers including the Timo Weiland team (Timo, Alan Eckstein and Donna Kang,) Ben and Doug Burkman from Burkman Bros, and Greg Lawrance from Number:Lab. Our editor [Brigitte] stopped to say hi with Steven Kolb, CEO of the organization while we were there.

The CFDA is a not-for-profit trade association that consists of more than 400 of the best American womenswear, menswear, jewelry and accessory designers. Other participating designers this year included Daniel Vosovic, Isaora, Jonathan Simkhai, Reece Hudson, Emanuela Duca, Whit and Ari Dein. A perfect combo of women’s and men’s apparel, fine jewelry, accessories, and lingerie/sleepwear designers. It was lovely to say ‘hello’ and meet the designers who are the new ones to watch in the industry. fdmLOVES CFDA selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
