Burberry mens spring 2014 runway
Move aside, ladies! It’s time for menswear. Designer Christopher Bailey presented a sleek and swift for the Burberry Prorsum Menswear SS 2014 collection. Entitled “WRITERS AND PAINTERS“, there’s a definite relaxed feel in the line’s vibe and exquisite tailoring. Many of these pieces are easy-breezy linen and slouchy cashmere…and they must have been created with those chilly British summer nights in mind. Attractive, sharp, and ridiculously now! Fabulous GUY guests included Greg James, David Gandy, Hugh Dancy and Douglas booth.
There are so many fantastic colors in this line. Azure, bright yellow, red, purple and fun prints quickly catch and please the eye. Those spots, stripes, gingham and English flower prints are so hot on dress shirts and scarves. All of these pieces would transform men into a delicious masterpiece. Knitwear and shirts were presented as outwear (it is for spring/summer after all!), and even paperweight trench coats, cagoules and sou’westers made an appearance. Unconventional chic. Who knew a bright yellow raincoat could look so suave?
Bailey paired his models with duffles in paint tones. The multicolored deck shoes and crepe sole suede shoes are so loud and fresh. The bright colors everywhere just scream summertime. Guys, put away your black and brown and opt for some of these stellar pieces. All looks can be ordered straight off the runway now at burberry.com.
