Brandon Sun Fall 2014 NYFW
At his debut runway show, Brandon Sun turned on the drama and loaded up on the glam for his Fall 2014 collection during NYFW. This young master turned to European fairytales and strong-willed muses for this set, resulting in one majestic assortment of ready-to-wear skirt suits and spectacular evening gowns. The use of metallic color shines like Olympic medals, as gold and silver is truly breathtaking here. But don’t worry, he also included what he’s known for…those fierce warm (+fuzzy) accents. Plus, there’s Swarovski-incrusted surprises. This was one to remember.
Looks are sexy, sassy and undoubtedly filled with the feminine mystique. Colors are rich, silhouettes are sleek and jeweled detailing is immaculate. These are top-notch pieces with the cool attitude, making every style 100 percent wearable. There’s even some cuts we’ve never seen before, especially on a few gowns. Geometric chic. It’s full of Art Deco love and passion— you can’t get more deco than that amazing silver metallic gown. Our jaws dropped when that gem sashayed down the runway. It was a sea of ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ from every direction. Continuing on with the amazing metallic, the gold floral jacquard would make any couturier lover weep tears of joy. So flawless.
We couldn’t get this line out of heads. There’s so much to say but the clothes truly speak for themselves. Make some room because Brandon’s not going anywhere. fdmLOVES BRANDON SUN Fall 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
