BALENCIAGA spring 2015 PFW
With celebs seated in the front row like the young North West (+CO), Balenciaga spring 2015 hit PFW with an astonishing balance between functionality and gentle splendor. Balenciaga was nothing short of incredible, every piece painstakingly perfect. Sophisticated active mesh, delicate embroideries, and sheer shirts of delicate roses made of ribbon all meet staple pieces of contemporary wardrobes.
Inspired by the Tour de France, this collection found a perfect balance and contrast of utilitarian and delicate fabrics. A minimalistic line injected with simple accompaniments. All the way from sleek black trench coats with beaded embellishments, to a sporty flair of mesh, Balenciaga’s ss2015’s collection allowed viewers to indulge in a spectacle of sophisticated yet active wear.
Some of our absolute favorites include that incredible fisherman’s pockets grid coat, delicately embroidered skirts cascading with peek-a-boo geo textures, and embroideries with gentle roses made of ribbon. Let’s not forget those gorgeous staple pieces with add-ons of embroidered flair, and sheer rounded neck lined black numbers. We’d like to think that North West would agree with us.
