Back to Blue campaign with Gap
It’s been a while since we fell into the Gap and now we can reconnect with the brand tapping into a modern identity. The Back to Blue Campaign for fall 2013 celebrates a fresh approach with timeless style. Familiar faces including HBO’s “GIRLS” actor Adam Driver and actress Dree Hemingway in a minimalistic scene captured by photographers Inez and Vinoodh.
The clean line is casual and mostly denim. Chambray matches back into with a soft story as if naturally always in compliment. The possibilities are endless for expressing your own personal style when built around a centerpiece. The campaign will span many platforms, including a partnership with Tumblr mobile: a contest based on original content with the winning image becoming an AD sent worldwide on the awesome network. In a quite bold move, this will mark the first time a brand will own all of Tumblr’s mobile ads for the entirety of a day (Aug 29th).
There will also be a global art partnership with VICE magazine featuring emerging street artists in ten outdoor murals curated by VICE. Selected artists include: Zio Ziegler, Roman Grandinetti and Andrew McAttee. The “Art of Blue” project will celebrate individualism, optimism and democracy from coast to coast in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, and internationally in London, Paris and Rome.
It’s not what you wear, or even how your wear it. It’s how you live. Stay true to you and find yourself in a fashion fit. fdmLOVES BACK to BLUE campaign the GAP written by Sarah A. Freiseis.
