AZZARO Pre-Collection spring 2014

Two facets of a woman are represented in Azzaro‘s Pre-Collection for Spring 2014. New creative directors Arnaud Maillard and Alvaro Castejòn wanted to show the dark and bright sides of females, while staying true to Loris Azzaro‘s original vision and inspiration of the brand. The beautiful floral patterns and silhouettes practically permeate the line like a dizzying fragrance. The colors are varied like the petals of a flower in coral, fuchsia, and transcend into gorgeous black and white. The two ‘personalties’ of the female are represented beautifully. Pretty and sweet, fierce and determined.

A long floral and black evening gown blends together perfectly, fully embodying the female personality. So many colors are romantically vivid, especially in satin jumpsuits. Small jackets embody the 1970s spirit on sequined dresses a la Birkin. Mini dresses show off a bit of leg and little bit of provocative sass, and gowns are adorned with Swarovski gems. Those trousers mimic pajama bottoms with tapered legs that are slimming, chic. Some even come in leather styles that are biker fabulous. A special mention also has to be given to the creamsicle colored mini. The cut and color are positively flawless. Pair it with a floppy sun hat and you have next year’s ‘first day of summer’ ensemble.
