AUGUST GETTY spring 2015

This season’s fresh new kid on the block August Getty debuted his designer collection at Mercedes-Benz fashion week in New York. The LA based creative got it right with a fab runway production (Peoples Revolution) and a most hip happening with music by Michel Gaubert/N.O.I.S.E. with styling by Joanne Blades.

Despite the newbie status, big names including Whoopi Goldberg and Perez Hilton made an appearance for the occasion, while our editor Brigitte Segura chatted front row with Sean Lourdes.  The romantic drama of it all unfolded as ultra feminine ensembles flooded the runway.

Frocks were delightfully reminiscent of the halcyon days of yore, flowing or sculpted. Distinctive touches shaped for flair complemented exaggerated elements that highlighted a glamorous touch. Leather and lace played pretty with fabrications in a pastel palette of Lavender and Dusty Rose. Nails by Keri Blair plus make up by Kabuki, both for MAC, Hair by Eugene Souleiman.
