CURATED LUXURY LIFESTYLE FASHION ART and WELLNESS magazine NYC curating good vibes by BRIGITTE SEGURA

Akris Resort 2014

Shying away from his typical dark palette, Albert Kriemler introduced very vivid colors for his Akris Resort 2014 collection. Inspired by the architecture of Luis Barragán, this 19 piece set is oh so sleek. The superb tailoring fits this model like a silk glove. She’s standing with ferocity and absolute confidence in these clothes. Any working girl will be dying to grab this collection when it’s fully released. Anything that looks confident, feels confident… and those are the best kind of clothes!

The eye is immediately drawn to the azure blue cloak that’s paired with matching blue trousers. It possesses a sense of equestrian high fashion, like riding a horse on the runway instead of the field. That same blue is accented with fuchsia and teal beautifully. The cotton-candy pink background acts as the perfect subtle accent. The clothes look positively tantalizing. The black and white looks, along with the navy and mauve shades look delicious.

The cut-open sleeves on the navy dress look so futuristic. It won’t be long before other clothes start mimicking that style.  There’s also a lustrous leather tunic that’s cut so slightly that is flows like silk. Innovative and gorgeous, Kriemler’s fans will love these pieces and new devotees will follow.  fdmLOVES AKRIS  resort 2014 selects by Brigitte Segura, written by Allison Ripa.
