3.1 Phillip Lim’s Resort 2014 collection looks like a a more urbane version of his designs. Lim’s line has been around for ten years, and his customers are growing up, in a way, with this clothing. He’s created something suitable for the modern woman: attire for work and for play. Sleek meets versatile with a nod to Mod,  Lim had a little fun with metallics in dresses, skirts and pants.

Office-approved and nighttime ready, Lim is keen on the the short leather dresses and  majestic embroidered dresses.   Embellished flowers and cut-out detailing complimented the colors in orange, blue and violet. The showstopping piece is the mosaic white patterened jumpsuit… a wonderful surprise.  Its striking pattern looks like it was taken off a wall of the Met and transformed into a modern piece of walking art.
